Squaring off in the regular season opener for both teams, the Wildcats and Sun Devils played like it was the last game of the season and the Western Athletic Conference championship was on the line.

That UA's Cats won, 92-91, in overtime, was only proof that this rivalry may be as close as it's ever been. The question is now, what can these two teams do for an encore when the WAC season rolls around and the games will mean something in the standings?
