The University of San Francisco used a deliberate attack and superior shooting and rebounding to dump the Wildcats Saturday night, 60-46, after Bruce Larson's UA team had opened its season by thumping San Jose State, 79-68, Friday night.

San Francisco got an early jump Saturday night and it's tough to catch a good ball-control team," said Larson. "We shot poorly, although we had some good shots, and our inexperience again showed. USF appeared to be a much better team than San Jose.
